Floral tributes left near Cardiff river where 15-year-old Nicola Williams drowned
Floral tributes have been left near the Cardiff river where a teenage girl drowned after being swept away by fast-flowing water.

Now scores of beautiful bouquets have been left on a footbridge that crosses the water along with messages and photographs of the youngster.
She added: "School's never going to be the same without you."

And a further tribute read: "Nicola was a beautiful most kindest friend ever! And always thought about other people first before her self! I’m so glad that I had the chance to be close friends with her and have all the good memories with her she always put a smile on my face everyday."

A statement from South Wales Police on Saturday afternoon said: "South Wales Police can now confirm the name of the 15-year-old girl who died yesterday evening in Llanrumney as Nicola Williams of Trowbridge, Cardiff.
"Her death is not being treated as suspicious at this time. Her family have requested privacy at this sad time."
A huge fleet of emergency services rushed to the river bank in Llanrumney after the alarm was raised, including police, coastguard, paramedics and firefighters.

South Wales Police confirmed they found Nicola but were unable to revive her. In a statement on Friday night, they said: "We were called at 5.20pm to a report of a girl in the river in Ball Lane, Llanrumney.
"We attended with a number of other emergency services and the police helicopter.
"At about 6.40pm a 15-year-old girl was located and despite the best efforts of emergency services she sadly passed away."
